Changing default font in pc

Nowadays font is a well discussed and interested issue. A lot of mobile phone have the feature of changing font style .
You can see that this post has also been written in a new font style<this style has no other choice than caps lock>.

Please comment if you like this font or i should change to previous font. Or you can also suggest which font i should use and which font i should reject.

Let's come back to topic.

Although, phones have started this feature ,you will hardly find any in your pc
But, there is a way to change the default font of pc. Normally, the default font is SEGOE UI . You can change it by a register file.
1st>> you have to open notepad
2nd>> you have to type the register file. i have created one. You can copy it and paste in notepad.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts]
"Segoe UI (TrueType)"=""
"Segoe UI Bold (TrueType)"=""
"Segoe UI Bold Italic (TrueType)"=""
"Segoe UI Italic (TrueType)"=""
"Segoe UI Light (TrueType)"=""
"Segoe UI Semibold (TrueType)"=""
"Segoe UI Symbol (TrueType)"=""

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\FontSubstitutes]

"Segoe UI"="Your Font Name"

3rd>> save it via SAVE AS option and type any name such as "newfont" . You have to type ".reg" which us register file's extension
So you have to save it as ↓
"Newfont.reg”

4th>> Remember to save that choosing the scroll down option below "all files".

——————————————————

Now if you want to return to your previous font you have to make another register file with another name(such as defaultfont.reg) .the text is ↓↓↓

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts]
"Segoe UI (TrueType)"="segoeui.ttf"
"Segoe UI Black (TrueType)"="seguibl.ttf"
"Segoe UI Black Italic (TrueType)"="seguibli.ttf"
"Segoe UI Bold (TrueType)"="segoeuib.ttf"
"Segoe UI Bold Italic (TrueType)"="segoeuiz.ttf"
"Segoe UI Emoji (TrueType)"="seguiemj.ttf"
"Segoe UI Historic (TrueType)"="seguihis.ttf"
"Segoe UI Italic (TrueType)"="segoeuii.ttf"
"Segoe UI Light (TrueType)"="segoeuil.ttf"
"Segoe UI Light Italic (TrueType)"="seguili.ttf"
"Segoe UI Semibold (TrueType)"="seguisb.ttf"
"Segoe UI Semibold Italic (TrueType)"="seguisbi.ttf"
"Segoe UI Semilight (TrueType)"="segoeuisl.ttf"
"Segoe UI Semilight Italic (TrueType)"="seguisli.ttf"
"Segoe UI Symbol (TrueType)"="seguisym.ttf"
"Segoe MDL2 Assets (TrueType)"="segmdl2.ttf"
"Segoe Print (TrueType)"="segoepr.ttf"
"Segoe Print Bold (TrueType)"="segoeprb.ttf"
"Segoe Script (TrueType)"="segoesc.ttf"
"Segoe Script Bold (TrueType)"="segoescb.ttf"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\FontSubstitutes]

"Segoe UI"=-

You have to save this with same process

Remember that you have to type the name of font you have choosen in the place of "Your Font Name" in first case at bottom of the text. You have to write a font name which is in your computer predownloaded.

You can check the list .
You have to go to your PC's control panel and have to arrange them with small icons. Then you will find a file named "Fonts" . Go there and chack out all fonts. You have to also remeber that you sholud type the name correctly as written there following every uppercases and lower cases and spelling and spaces properly. You have not to type the subname such as italics, bold, bold italics which can be found under the main name of some fonts .ignore them.
You should choose a font which is easily readable and have a good balance in styling.

This method is fully working and supports both in windows 7 and windows 10. Thus has no side effect.

Pls comment below to let me know how it worked or helped you. You can say if you have suffered any problem with this .
